Welcome to sbl financial
Sbl financial is a specialist regulated mortgage and protection firm who currently have access to over 170+ lenders. This means that we have a solution for most clients by having access to so many specialist lenders, exclusives and semi-exclusives as well as high street banks, building societies and well known providers. We always give advice and recommendations and have specialist advisers on Residential, BTL, HMO, Serviced accommodation, Holiday let, Investor led, Auction, Equity Release, Bridging, Commercial, Developments, Secured Loans, Protection & General insurance.
Our director has worked in the specialist market for many years to help those clients who have struggled on the high street because they either have a complex income, have historic credit issues or have non-standard criteria properties and have been left frustrated with lack of options from their bank.
It is not just about the quirky stuff either. We also have regular customers and what we offer them is a great customer service, good communication, out-of-hours appointments and guides to help them through the entire process of whatever product and service they decide they want from us.
We may be small but our team is by no means new or in-experienced. sbl financial was purposely set up to give help, great advice, maximum choice and unrivalled service; we do not have clients, we build and nurture relationships.

Face to Face Appointments
Yes, it can all be done online but we do love doing face to face appointments too – as well as out of hours appointments to fit with you. We’re not just 9-5.
Credit File Issues
Been declined by your high street bank? No problem – we have lots of specialist lenders, not available direct or on the high street, to help you get back on track.
Development / Bridging
Emergency Bridging is our speciality. Below are some examples of how we may be able to assist you.
- Are you struggling with a project
- Do you need help with a business plan, completing forms, or a site visit
- Do you need advice on which lender to look at before going to auction
- You have a time sensitive case
- You purchased at auction and need a Bridging loan asap
Buy-to-let, HMO, Serviced accommodation & Holiday let
If you haven’t come across us before, you will naturally be asking yourself why we should use sbl financial
There are 100 other brokers in a 20-mile radius. All of their websites look and say the same. So why should you come to us?
Well the answer is this…
- Our No 1 USP is that we are the best, not that we are the cheapest in your area.
- We are 5 star rated on Google for customer satisfaction
- We are member status of the MLIBF & signed up to it’s ethical charter for customer service.
- We are a specialist firm regulated by the FCA, unlike many others.
Whilst we love doing the standard high street mortgages offering the most competitive rates for residential and buy-to-let, where the applicants are generally employed, have a good understanding of what they need and are simply looking for a high street lender to meet their requirements, we love going the extra mile too… helping those who don’t fit the standard criteria.
We love to specialise in the more complex, credit issue, non-conforming applicants who have been knocked back by the high street lenders as they don’t quite fit the criteria.
For the last 15 years, we have carved a niche in the non-high street market to help people access specialist lenders, meaning clients can get on with planning their lives.
The impossible can be just a normal day for us.
And on the rare occasion we don’t succeed at first, we will work with you to develop a step-by-step plan to help you get to the place you need to be, so in the future you will be back on track .
Our advice will always be on a case by case basis and specific to your individual circumstances.
We are a credit broker and not a lender. We have access to an extensive range of lenders. Once we have assessed your needs, we will recommend a lender(s) that provides suitable products to meet your personal circumstances and requirements, though you are not obliged to take our advice or recommendation. Whichever lender we introduce you to, we will typically receive commission from them after completion of the transaction. The amount of commission we receive will normally be a fixed percentage of the amount you borrow from the lender. Commission paid to us may vary in amount depending on the lender and product. The lenders we work with pay commission at different rates. However, the amount of commission that we receive from a lender does not have an effect on the amount that you pay to that lender under your credit agreement. For sales of non-investment insurance products such as life and critical illness insurance, we are remunerated by commission from the insurance provider. Commission will normally be based on a percentage of your premium for a set period of time.”
